Join me in supporting real change. Help hundreds of students provide an education that fosters peace and stability in South Sudan.

My name is Elizabeth and I one of the advisors for the Myers Park Any1Can Club.

When I found out that in Unity State, South Sudan only 2% of boys and 1% of girls complete elementary school, I knew I had to help. South Sudan is the newest country in the world, and one of least developed because of a long history of civil war.

That's why I am supporting the Any1Can Walk for Wisdom at Myers Park on April 29, 2016. During this event, I will support students as they walk three miles--the distance many students in South Sudan walk to access clean water or attend school every day. I am asking for donations from friends and family like you who want to help these young people support this great cause.

The Any1Can Walk for Wisdom at Myers Park will fund the purchase solar lights, school lunches and library books for 600 elementary school students in Unity State, South Sudan. These resources will help provide an education that fosters peace and stability in South Sudan — and you can be a part of it. Funds raised through the Walk for Wisdom will benefit the Raising South Sudan project of Mothering Across Continents, a 501c3 nonprofit in Charlotte, NC.

Can you be one of the people that supports the Walk for Wisdom?

Just a small donation will go a long way in helping these students meet their goal!

If just 100 students receive 10 donations of $10, they will meet a school-wide goal of $10,000 for South Sudan!

Here's how your donation will help:

  • $10 = One book for a school library
  • $30 = Three books for a school library
  • $60 = One solar light for a student and two books for the library
  • $100 = Lunch every day to one child for one year

Thank you!
