Your sponsorship will help bring these learning materials and activities to schools across the United States, enabling students in your community to make the link between sustainability and peacebuilding while forming lasting habits that create positive change.
Materials align with Unit 5 (Land and Water Use) of the Advanced Placement Environmental Science course and feature the Pillars of Peace framework and Ecological Threat Register (ETR) produced by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP).

The collaboration to integrate environmental sustainability and peacebuilding education was the brainchild of Patricia Shafer, Senior Fellow for Peace Education at the Alliance for Peacebuilding, Executive Director of NewGen Peacebuilders, and Rotary Positive Peace Activator; and Dakota Stormer, Founder and CEO of Footprint App., Inc., UN Sustainable Development Goals Facilitator, and recipient of a Texas Environmental Excellence Award.
